About Robert Galey

Robert started his career in healthcare by graduating from Parkland College’s School of Radiology, in ChampIn, Illinois. After a period of two years, he decided to go into nursing, and continued working in radiology until graduating from Lakeview School of Nursing in 1977. 

Robert worked in the Emergency epartment at Lakeview Medical Center for the next ten years, then obtained his Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing in Danville, Illinois in 1992. Robert then enrolled in a Master’s Degree program in hospital management at the University of St Francis, in Joliet, Illinois., and graduated in 1996. Robert spent the next seventeen years working as director of emergency services, and spent six of those years as a nationwide consultant, in emergency department throughout and process. 

In 2014, Robert decided to to enroll in nurse practitioner school through Chamberlain College of Nursing, owners Grove, Illinois, and graduated with high honors in 2016. Since then, he has worked as a nurse practitioner in family practice and urgent care.
